Thought about deleting this journal at least three or four times in the past month or so ... i mean, I never write in it ... so what's the point? But ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) taki_rari threatened me, and so it stands.
Over and done, and I mean REALLY over and done with school at last ... I have to find a job ... but the market's so gone to shit. I really should go the route of Keith and try some web freelancing ... yeah, me and like the nine million unemployed IT kids in San Francisco ...

So it seems a couple of the peeps on my friends list are going to see a23 in philly tonight ... don't believe the hype, he puts on a good show. Me and inblackagain and Ginnie and her bf Marko and a few others went to see the show at the Man Ray in Boston on Monday, and i was all expecting to be skeptical about it by the end given what i've heard. I'd say i was pleasantly surprised (and I got a shirt, so i can't complain :). it took a lot of promises of booze to get Kay to come at all tho since he has bad memories of the Man Ray ... heh heh heh.
I personally was quite impressed with the quality of sound and they didn't have any major technical problems, so for once there's nothing to complain about. i seem to be saying that a lot lately. I blame the vitamin water.
been making a lot of really fluid sculptures heavy on copper accents and they're quite different from my normal work, much smaller and more delicate. maybe I'll go into more detail about these some other time. I can hear the mac 'n' cheez calling my name...
p.s. I can't believe that bbbbrainbomb still hasn't added me back ... what a wanker ... i'm gonna stick snakes down his drawers.

Hey folks. i have this nasty tendency to start things on the internet and then walk away from them without looking back. I think this is because of an even nastier tendency i have to get waaaaaaay too involved on newsgroups and message boards and the like when i'm into something. So I've learned to just put down the gun ... step away from the car ... and back away slowly ...
anyway, so I'm sure you all want to know what the fuck's been going on with me ... or whatever. The semester's been going pretty well, in fact, I haven't had any major disasters or urges to kill, and I'm actually getting shit done ... and you know what that means, if darryl has nothing to complain about then he's going to spend more of his time online gaming than writing in something like a livejournal. and it's a major accomplishment if I don't have much to complain about. So how do ya like that.
the only major problem in my life right now is that Kay and i don't hang out enough, so, Kay, wanna go to Kartabar tomorrow nite? Oh sure, I could just go downstairs and tell you, but this is so much more gratifying ... and much more rivet. ha.

Kay mentioned that i should post more, so i guess i should. couldn't hurt. Lately i've been getting a lot of shit done. putting the finishing touches on a HUGE fucking sculpture i've been working on for quite sometime, it doesn't really resemble anything even vaguely representational as i've been trying to get away from that kind of thing for a long time, maybe it's Kay's influence. speaking of which, he's got me listening to an awful lot of depeche mode lately, not that I didn't already like them but that the amount in which I seem to be consuming them lately is rather staggering. I really like Songs of Faith and Devotion, probably more than Kay does. i even remember hearing a bit of it when it came out...granted, I wasn't too interested at the time...
I really want spring to roll around already, so it won't be so fucking disgusting when i take out the vespa...cause nowadays it just gets shit all over my New Rocks. Which is so not cool.
still haven't gotten the hang of LJ, next time i better have something important to say.
